Format:
• Monday: drills, skills, games
• From this a number of players will be selected for Friday.
Friday: Possibles v Probables game
Eligibility: all players selected MUST be currently registered with an Illawarra club and MUST register and play at least four games in the 2015 season with an Illawarra club prior to the Championships. Players to bring all protective gear, rugby shorts and boots as well as drinks bottles. Jerseys will be supplied.

U13 Illawarra team management reserve the right to exclude any player who does not pre-register for the trials.
Information on the 2015 u13 representative rugby squad:
Mission: to nurture and build the passion and skills of Rugby Union within the youth of the Illawarra. We strive to develop these skills and passion through commitment discipline and fun.
Objectives: foster a healthy lifestyle via Rugby within the Illawarra community.
Programme:
2015: The u13 Junior Illawarriors will participate in the:
• NSW Country Championships
• New Zealand South Islands tour held in April school holidays
• NSW State Championships held in June.
The selection process.
• Players wishing to be considered for selection in an Illawarra representative team should attend all trial nights, even if injured and dispensation has been granted.
• This is compulsory unless dispensation is granted. For dispensation to be granted a letter or email is to be forwarded to the Team Management prior to the trials. A Doctor’s certificate or a letter from a physiotherapist may assist with your application. Dispensation is at the discretion of the u13 Illawarra Representative committee.
• If the player is prevented from attending the selection day due to an emergency on the day the manager must be notified immediately by phone or text. Michelle Devine 0413 602 735 (Manager).
• Dispensation does not guarantee selection.
• U13 Illawarra management team reserves the right to select any player who they feel displays the necessary qualities to be a representative player, regardless of their attendance or non-attendance at the selection day.
• In the event of a player withdrawing from the selected team prior to the Country Championships or New Zealand tour, the u13 Illawarra Management team reserves the right to select any player regardless of their attendance or non-attendance at the selection day. Selections are made on the basis that:
• The player’s first commitment is to the Illawarra Representative team
• That the player is committed and is available to attend:
o All organized training sessions (TBA)
o All trial games
o All Championship matches
o New Zealand tour April 2014 (Costs are involved for each player).
Once advised of training dates you will be expected to attend all nominated dates, Players must attend more than 75% of all training sessions, failure to meet the expectation may result in that player being removed from the squad, (League/School training is NOT an acceptable reason).
All trial dates are compulsory, failure to attend trial dates without a Doctors certificate or acceptable reason could result in the player being removed from the starting team or removed from the squad all together.
The manager must be advised of the players inability to attend in a reasonable time before training or a game, by email, phone or text.
New Zealand Tour:
Held in the 2015 April School holidays, the 10 day tour may cost up to $2500 per players. Selected players have the opportunity to play the full amount up front, or participate in the numerous fundraising events to assist in subsidizing this cost. A touring meeting will be held after the squad is selected.
